What It Does

  • Corrects the front KDSS bushing angle caused by lifts.

  • Recommended to used with KDSS Adaptors

  • Eliminates binding in the sway-bar bushings so the bar can slide and cycle smoothly.

  • Gives you adjustability the factory brackets never offered.

  • Works with OEM or polyurethane bushings.

  • Makes sway-bar installation and maintenance way easier thanks to slotted mounting holes.

Why You Need It

  • Lift a KDSS-equipped 4Runner or GX more than ~2" and your front sway-bar bushings start to bind.

  • That binding adds resistance, shortens bushing life, and limits suspension movement.

  • These adjustable brackets fix the angle so everything lines up correctly again — no more binding, no premature wear, and a smoother ride.

  • Special Scenario: If you’re running extended-travel or long-travel (Total Chaos, etc.) with KDSS, you’ll need the adapters to gain that extra droop. The adapters may slightly over-clock the bushing angle, and that’s where the bushing bracket comes in — it corrects the angle and keeps everything cycling smoothly with no bind.

  • Can also be used with KDSS Drop Spacers to fix bushing angle if you’re keeping the sway bar low.
