Ford 8.8 / Dana 60 / Ford 9" Spring Perches

7.75" long × 2.5" wide weld-on perches with 3 spring pin positions

These perches are CNC laser cut from .25" HR P&O steel and brake-formed for consistent fit. The 7.75" length helps control axle wrap, and the 2.5" width provides a stable spring platform. Three spring pin holes allow small wheelbase adjustments without re-drilling your springs.

Perches are profiled for 3.25" axle tubes and include three 1/16" nubs so they also seat a 3.125" (small Ford 9") tube out of the box. Grind off the nubs to fit Ford 8.8, Dana 60, or Ford 9" (3.25") housings; these are for spring-over applications only and are sold in pairs. Set pinion angle and perch orientation during mock-up, then weld fully for permanent installation.

Verify axle diameter before welding; leave nubs in place for 3.125" tubes and remove them for 3.25" tubes (Ford 8.8, Dana 60, Ford 9"). These are for spring-over installs only—set pinion angle, center pin location, and perch clocking during mock-up. Tack, cycle suspension, then weld fully and torque U-bolts per spec.
